Hi Richard.... Thanks for visiting and commenting on "the wooden milk bottle." I am rather embarrassed because this grainy photo was taken with my very first digital camera, a 1.3 mp.and before I learned how to clone out fences, etc. I must go back there and improve the shot. Hey Richard! The Wheel, or Eye, is very photogenic. I like your London images, it's odd how some one else's pics of somewhere I know quite well can still be so fascinating. I've never yet taken any somewhere like Regent St or in the parks - though that's my target for when the leaves are turning later this season. I thought you might be interested to know that the round building you have in your London gallery ("I like it") is affectionately known as the Gherkin! CL

Excellent photos Richard! You're a lot like me, but you've many more older shots and better quality, too. Unfortunately, I've never taken good care of my old photos. I used to go the door, loaded down with all the cameras but now they are mostly stowed away. I keep meaning to pick up some 120 format film off ebay and burn off a few rolls....the quality of the image on that large negative makes for excellent detail. I'll be getting a digital SLR when the prices come down from the stratosphere or my pay gets a saturn IV boost. Anyway, thanks for sharing and thanks for visiting...I'm sorry that there is more old pics than new...I need to get away from the shipyard and take some new pics. Michael Martin Brownsville, Texas
