Each photo has been sized down (orignals are 4MB or larger and 300 dpi) for two specific reasons. First off at the Point I am still on dial-up awaiting AT&T to catch-up with the demand for reliable high speed internet for people living in the countryside. The second is these photos are copyrighted and a regular size photo just might be to tempting to someone who desires to use it for monetary gain. As stated on my profile only one governmental entity has permission to use them to promote their charge and that is the United States Fish and Wildlife Service at Wheeler National Refuge.

After years of family duty, personal events, several careers, and service to my Nation, I now find standing still offers me the variety of beauty which was onetime to busy with life to see and respect fully. Like a prodigal child I am now home content to be just an ole countryboy with a camera than a modern man of business. In short we have found peace of spirit at BeauxPoint which is worth more than the riches I once held in a bank. Our Creator has given us another chance to enjoy his bounty of beauty as it changes from moment to moment. In 2002 His moment-by-moment brush strokes during the evening sunsets in front of our home reawoke the reality of the beauty I had known as a child. And as a "new-born" I capture these moments faithfully without the exotic manipulations of CS Photoshop or other artistic software for "artistic perfection". To faithfully honor His creativity on the canvas of Earth with light, darkness, blemish, and details is my goal.

I hope my humble attempts at documenting the hour and days in my wee spot on this "blue marble" in someway stirs your senses and brings a pleasure to your heart and soul.
