Hi Bud:
I am the editor of the Minnesota Gardening Calendar. I would like to use one of your photos in our calendar. They are outstanding!! Would this be possible. If yes how would you liked to be credited and what would be your fee?

Sincere thanks, Karl Foord University of Minnesota

Hello Bud,

I am the curriculum director for an online, nonprofit K-12 education program called Journey North. (This form would not let me post a hyperlink; feel free to search google for our site.) Participating students investigate seasonal change by following animal migrations on real-time maps, upload their own observations, and work with scientists and other students across North America. Ruby-throated and Rufous hummingbirds are two of the species students track.

As part of tomorrow's update, I'm doing a short piece on Torpor (given the cold conditions in the Midwest and New England this week). I ran across your message and stunning photo of a hummer who appears to be in torpor (# 85759951) in today's Hummingbird Forum. I would love to use it to inspire students' thinking.

Would you be willing to give Journey North permission to do so? If so, how should the credit line/copyright read? Thank you for considering our request.

Sincerely,
Eve Pranis, Journey North

I have seen your macro shots on pbase and really like your work. I have a new photography forum and we have a section dedicated to macro photography where you can share your work, get comment/critique on it, and can also help others by leaving comment/critique on their work. We have a really great group of guys on there and would love for you to join and share you work too. We also have many other photography sections
Hope to see you on the site

Great stuff. The h-bird close ups are awesome. Do you have wide shots of your garden? Maybe I missed them. I'd love to see the garden itself.

Thanks
