Gina, wow, whee does one begin to comment on such beauty in your work? the tonal range in some of your flora and close up stuff is unbelieveable while also presenting some fabulous detail. You also show quite a nice range of subject matter in your work. Have you ever done Polaroid transfers of any of your work? Or Emulsion lifts? I would think that some of your images would lend themselves very well to these processes... All the best in all you do. Peace Tony

Hi Gina. Thanks for stopping by my galleries and leaving such nice comments. Your question about the Nikkor 70-300ED and aperture..at 300mm the widest aperture is also 5.6. I have the Sigma 70-300 (non-APO) Super II Macro but I was having a lot of trouble with CA. I already had the 70-300ED and saw some beautiful work being done with this Nikon 6T combo so I thought I'd try it for macros at a distance. The combination is SHARP but it is definitely hard to hand hold (can't drink coffee before using it) and I don't use a tripod. With the 6T on the end, it is heavy and will pull the lens if you don't hold it straight. You are doing some tremendous work with the D70 and are so creative and imaginative....looking forward to more. Really nice work with the Canon G3, too. I've got the G2 and can't see myself parting with it anytime soon. Lisa

Oh Gina ! first, un grand merci ! for your comment in my gallery. It is very apprecited :) Personnaly, i am very impressed with many of your macro. Amazing when we know that you did them with a canon G3 :)) Many of your macros are full of tenderness. It is not just only picture of plant or insects. Your subjects seems alive, i have a personnality :) I am jaelous of many of your pictures. Really ! Thank again :)

Gina thanks so much for all of the nice comments you left for me on my photos. Your galleries are excellent! I love the way you compose your photographs...very interesting perspective on so many of them. You asked about the lens I used for my flower gallery. Most of them were taken using a Nikkor AF 60mm Macro lens. I used the kit lens for most of my other photos. I've really enjoyed using my macro lens...it's a lot of fun to play with :) Have fun with your new camera. We've had ours for almost two months now. I've been really happy with the color and clarity of the prints I get with mine. I haven't ventured yet of P mode but I hope to take a class in the fall to learn how to use this camera to it's full potential :) I'll check back to see what you can do with yours! Take care, Kim

Gina, These are some of the best Photographs I have ever seen. Stunning work. The colors are soft, the composition is exact...And the Lighting...That has to be the best lighting I have seen. I am amazed and impressed. I actually went though each and every photo you have here. Definately on my list of favorites now!!!...and definately had to vote for a few of these galleries here!!!
