ABOUT ME AND MY PHOTOGRAPHY


I live in Sweden in Surahammar (a small town north of lake Mälaren) and also by the lake Våtsjön
in the hilly regions of Kilsbergen/Värmland.
I have terminated my professional career as a researcher (PhD in economic history), manager of
private companies and for public organizations and as a management consultant.
Now I devote my time and energy to photography and birdwatching (and also down-hill skeeing
and book-collecting).
Nature (birds) and landscape photography are in
focus but I also like to work with different types of documentary photography.


My philosophy regarding photo can be expressed by a travesty of
Edward Hopper. Good photo is the expression of the photographers inner thoughts
which will result in his vision of the world.
My vision is the beauty, serenity and peace in the Creation. In my nature photos
I try to picture and convey that to the viewer.
