Hello James (Bo),
I was cleaning out my address book from years past. I lived in Knoxville for about 5 years during the late 80's. I found a Bo (James) Lundy, 1219 Saybrook Lane, Knoxville, Tn 37923 birthday 11/11/1957. I, too, was born in 1957. The years and my memory escapes me but I know I must have been acquainted with you. I was consolidating my old address books and was curious about your name. As I happened to this sight I looked at your photographs and they are beautiful. Were you involved with CISV maybe? Oh well, I live in Kansas City now with my family. Leslie Perry Bain lpbain@kc.rr.com

Thanks for visiting my page.I enjoyed browsing your galleries. For me, the gorilla image is most touching. It's marvelous! I like your photo a day gallery. Good idea. As for your quote, "sometimes the best part of wanting something is not having it"...I think I was told something almost just like that in 1994...the keyword is "sometimes". - thanks again , leigh ann

Great photographs, James! I think you've worked with a friend of mine, and I was wondering if you might be interested in working with me sometime. Again, excellent eye.

Hi, James,
thanks for stopping by my RIAT gallery.

The F-16 smoke trails are certainly impressive, but I believe they came just from i high g pullout, not from a controlled spin.

Wonderful shots, very talented. I suspect that you will have a hard time choosing only 5 shots. I too am located in Knoxville. Hope to see more!

Thanks for the visit to my photos. I really enjoyed yours, very skilled p.s but I especially enjoyed the family ones and Smokies. I was born in Middlesboro, Ky. and we would always go "down home" to visit relatives when I was a kid. My aunt lived in Knoxville. I love it down there.

I had a jerk come over to my house to look at my photos. He said he was this and that and wanted to use my photos in a gallery. I asked for a resume or something that would tell me about him and was given some lies. I gave him a 16x20 proof sheet and never heard from him again. I would not sent any original, ever!!!!!!! There are too many brothers of the jerk out there.

James, Thanks for the comments. The overlook you asked about was in the Blue Ridge Parkway, just south of Skyline Drive (Shenandoah National Park). Good day, Fred Durr

Great minds think alike! I enjoyed looking through your fireworks gallery. I used the same technique for some time now and I think I'm getting the hang of it. Check it out and let me know what you think.

Hi James!
Thanks for looking at my galleries. :)
So, you are from Knoxville, TN?! My favorite singer, Kenny Chesney, is also from there and sings about Knoxville quite a bit. I've been to Nashville several times, but never visited Knoxville. I hear it's beautiful!!
Your galleries are beautiful by the way. Keep on shooting!!

Hi James, thanks for your info on the type of frost we are witnessing. Over the years I have seen Hoar Frost but never like this...Our local weather service tells us that we are setting all kinds of records with this weather pattern...

Thanks for your comment on my Smoky Mountain photos James. I see you're in Knoxville and are taking a few photography courses at UT. Your work already looks very nice and you have some excellent exposures.
Being this close to the mountains, drop me a line when you come to shot in the area and maybe we can shoot the bull and take a few photos.

You hard to ge ahold of. I thought that I would tell you that we are back in NC. Jeff will more than likely deploy by the end of the year. Thought you might be interested...

Hi James,
Thanks for stopping by my PAD and Portraits Gallery. No, in answer to your question, I never did take my tripod to the hospital! That shot of the white rose was hand held. I've enjoyed exploring your galleries. Love the night shots of Roanoke! And you have one of the best shots I've ever since of a sparkler: Abby Fireworks 2004. Great shot!!

Hi James Nice to meet you! Thank you so very much for taking time to explain things to me. Yes, I did know some of it but much was new and well received.
I was about to update my site ... take off the dumb stuff and put on some smart stuff (which, of course, will become dumb in a few months).
I am an Export from Oak Ridge and still have a relative in the Knoxville vacinity.
Hopefully I'll retire (from Retirement) in that area.
Your photos are interesting and my favorites are the dog and especially the cat in the window.

Jim-I reviewed all of your galleries and enjoyed them very much. I began my digital photography with a Canon G2 and went to the SLR Canon 10D. You have enough talent to be thinking about a SLR. It opens up another world. Keep shooting. Jim

Hi Lundy.

You can refer to Professor Mark Plonsky's macro website here.

http://www.mplonsky.com/photo/article.htm#rev

Everything I learnt about macros on the G5 and reversing a 50mm lens were from him. I won't recommending using this combination most of the time as the depth of field is very shallow, and magnification would be too high for regular stuff.

Drop me an email at human11@hotmail.com if you've any queries.

Happy Shooting,

Jason
