Your photographs of Philadelphia are the most moving for me. You caught the spirit of my soul in each o f them. They are very dear to me because they bring back very fond memories of my youth. It is where I spent many a day walking and talking with my friends.

I was born and raised in Philadelphia and have been away since 1971. The city has changed and I love the pictures of the new look of Philly.

I live in Hawaii now but nothing can touch my heart of hearts like seeing the city of my birth.

Hi Sandy...For 40 years Newtown was my home. You've done a great job with your photos. I especially like the Bradford Pear trees. You might want to return and shoot them with the holiday lights. All the best....

Sandy, I was just surfing around pbase this morning and ran across a ophotographer that you might want to go look at, Mindy McNaugher. She's a staff photographer for a Natural history Museum up in you neck of the woods, and has some very nice photos in particular several covered bridges from Penn. Thanks for the tip on pbase, I'm a little slow getting started but I've really appreciated the inspiration that it has been. Hope the new year was good to you. VR BJ

I wish I'd known about the New Hope & Ivyland RR and the Moravian Tile Works when my wife and I were back there ten years ago. We'd have enjoyed seeing them.

However, the covered bridges are what I'm sorriest about - I love covered bridges, barns and lighthouses.

Thanks for sharing such excellent pictures.
