Most of the images in my galleries are available for sale, high-resolution images or prints can be requested, please email me for any inquiries. More photos from the following places will be available soon:

United Kingdom:
Edinburgh, Glasgow, Peebles (Borders), Stirling, Loch Ness, Ben Nevis, London.
Tools:
Currently I have a Pentax K100D (DSLR) and a Panasonic FZ15 (35-420mm f2.8 with IS, 4MP). I shoot a lot of panorama shots, be it landscape scenery or indoor architechture. Some of my panoramas are available athttp://pbase.com/waqas/panoramas. More images are continually being added in new galleries as well as in this panoramas gallery. The best software for panoramas I've found is "Pano Tools" by Helmut Dersch, and several GUI's for PTools are available, I like Hugin the best. Autostitch (demo) and AutoPano pro (full retail version) are best softwares for fully-automated stitching, but the current versions of these softwares lack any kind of manual tweaking, for which PanoTools is best.
Background:
I have been a "serious amateur" photographer ("prosumer", if you will) since I got my first manual camera in 2002 (Olympus C2100UZ 38-380mm with IS, 2MP). I've been learning more and more about photography and some post-processing ever since. Currently I'm providing images to local publishers Karachi and Lahore, and setting up my stock photos database.
I love travelling, most of my photographs are from travels. I have lots of photos with me that need to be readied for pbase, so keep an eye for updates to the gallery. Any feedback is appreciated, feel free to scribble in the guestbook or in the gallery comments. (I have chosen to approve the comments before they appear on the gallery pages because of spam)
